Oh, What Will Become of Me?

Hello again. Yes it has been awhile but I'm back. I'll try to keep you posted on all things going on with me. But I'm down here in the darkroom and my professor says I should incorporate my project and ideas in this here blog so here goes.

I have so many ideas about what I want to do as a career. I know for sure photography will always be apart of my life. These are all the things I'm thinking of
*Photographer-"Sleep" or freelance
*Set photographer for film or plays
*Cinematographer for film
*Director of films or plays
*Set production design
*Lighting Tech for film or plays
I'm not quite sure what I want to do in school now. Initially I was thinking of doing Screen Studies and Studio Art double major. But now for a more hands on production, I'm interested in theatre. For sure, besides classes, I want to be a Projectionist for the Dept and CUFS, Technical Assistant for the Music and Theatre. Danny tells me there are really good paying jobs in technical work in theatre. Oh well. I might just go ahead, stick with Screen Studies and Studio Art and Projecting. I might have to let go of the office job and ushering for the music department.
As a career though I might do Photography, personal and for sets, and then go to school for cinematography. The lighting job here will help me for sure. And if I find a good job as a tech in theatre I could do that. As you can tell, I really want to do a lot.

I wanna be a rock and roll girl

Could you imagine me in a band? Seriously like a rock/ punk band. I could so see it. Rocking out with a band full of guys. LOL. I'm buyiing an electric guitar when I get home for spring break, a late birthday present to myself. Auhh i can't want. Seth tells me that because I learned acoustic first it will be an easier transition to electic. I should get a singing coach to expand my vocal and range, work on my finger picking/lead work, and get the confidence to rage out my lryics, oh yeah that's right, I have to write to lryics first.

My influence would be the Slits, Mirah, and Sleater-Kinney so far that is.

I'm really feeling this song. But then again I'm feeling so many songs simultaneously. I call this song the song of my life at the moment, yet I don't really have a baby who loves me and I get happy and hungry and angry. But i pretty much have those feeling without being in a relationship. I bought a tv for my dorm room at the beginning of the school year, there are still Krispy Cream donuts in the fridge at church.EEEEEEEEEEWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!, and I haven't been buying anything since i spent all of my work study money on nonsense when I went home for Christmas, and I have to save up. I can relate to it.

I was thinking of a name to call this blog. Something to describe myself but at the same time be cool and sort of unique. And after watching Sleater Kinney perform this song on a DVD I bought during winter break, it seemed right. Yeah so I guess I'm going to be writing all of my deepest and complicated thought with this blog and share it all with you. I was thinking the other day how voyeurism is so big in society and certainly with the Internet. I find myself spending so much time reading and looking at things people put up online. Flickr, facebook, myspace, etc. I've been spending so much time on this laptop since college started. But spending less time surfing the television.

But anyway, back to the blog. I'm really into music and art and poetry so I want to talk about my photography and film escapades and the lack of music I'm doing, I've got to stop fooling around and get back to writing songs. What is cool is that you can read all of my typing diarrhea and then comment on it! Interesting. Be nice though. Enjoy. I'll try to get to you everyday. Promise.
